A New Season, A Faithful God

Transitions can be bittersweet. As we bid farewell to our beloved pastor, who has faithfully shepherded us for six  years, we may feel a mix of gratitude and uncertainty. Change can bring challenges, but it also brings opportunities for renewal, growth, and a deepening of our trust in God.

The good news is that while seasons shift, our God remains steadfast. Hebrews 13:8 reminds us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Though leadership may change, the mission of the church remains—to love God, serve others, and share the hope of Christ with the world.

This moment is an opportunity for us to reflect on the blessings of our past and anticipate the possibilities of our future. Let’s take a moment to pray for our retiring pastor and his wonderful wife, thanking God for their service. And let’s also lift up our church family as we journey forward, seeking God’s wisdom and trusting that He will lead us.

The future is bright, and God is already at work in it. Let’s step forward in faith, unified in purpose, and eager for all that He has in store.

Blessings to you all.
